Books Back Stage: Kathleen B. Blasi, author of Hosea Plays On

December 9 @ 7:00 pm

$8

This heartwarming children’s picture book depicts a day in the life of Hosea Taylor, a musician who
— with his charm, talent, and generosity — brought joy to everyone he met, especially when
playing saxophone at the Rochester Public Market. With the money passersby tossed into his
case, he elevated the lives of children in his neighborhood. The book is based on a true story with
illustrations by Shane W. Evans. An accomplished children’s author, Blasi mines stories of
everyday heroes. This “Books Backstage” event will include a moderated discussion, live music
featuring saxophonists, and a booksigning (books can be purchased onsite — in time for
Christmas!). Admission is $8.

Books Back Stage is brought to you with support by our sponsor Reliant CU.
